There are so many ways one can wera a plain, button-down shirt; all you need is a little creativity. I did some experimenting and found myself attracted to the different ways a shirt can be buttoned to create entirely new textures and depth to the simple article with draping and folds. Here are a few of my favorite styles:
Each button is attached to a hole one opening lower than the intended to create a diagonal effect.
Unevenly attach the buttons from each side.
Attach a button one off from the correct and then connect the one above the link to the one below on the other side.
Take a large t-shirt and attach the bottom button with the top hole on the opposite side and do the same for the bottom hole on the other side. Then pop your collar, byatch.
