I made this top the other day to wear for a party I was throwing that very night. Think of it more as a prototype for future creations, or at least as something whose mistakes I can certainly learn from. Next time I’ll be sure to put the zippers in last so that I can make them more vertical and centered and since this was my first foray in hemming a rounded edge, I made a hellofalotta mistakes.
Tops, DIY // Jeans, MNG // Shoes, New York shop “closing sale” (yeah, right)
Fuck living in Costa Rica sometimes! I mean I love it but it’s possibly the worst place to live if you want to have things shipped to you. So that means no eBay, no online shopping, and most of all, no etsy. This has never been as big of a regret as it is right this moment since I have discovered sweatshopbytiq’s etsy store. I have never in my life wanted avant garde bustier tops as I do right now. Check out the store here. If anyone wants to buy me that vintage Barbie one as a late birthday present to me, I wouldn’t complain. Maybe I’ll find some old PJ’s and try to DIY one (I already know it won’t come out as awesome…)
