On the first day of my color-spectrum challenge I have decided to begin with the color red. This choice wasn’t random, in fact it was very carefully considered and chosen for specific reasons; red is the keystone in bold fashion statements. To wear red is to be classically sexy while being innovative and shocking. Red is the most emotionally intense color, sure to capture the attention of any perchance-witness to your venture into the fashion realm of anger, passion and love.
RED
Dress, Zara; Pants, MNG; Belt, Vintage; Shoes, Mama’s (I’m even wearing a red bra, H&M!)
Amazing! This really works and you look great. The belt is a nice touch.
Cheers,
Tara
you look great! red is a pretty good color to start with… are you going to do the whole roy g biv rainbow, or just a few select colors?
I’m doing 7 colours. Not totally sure which ones quite yet, but that kind of depends on what I can pull together π
yeah! red is my favourite!
oooh! Lovely. Can’t wait to see the rest of the week!
Did you know that red wavelengths of light actually get focused behind our retina? This actually causes our brain to interpret red as moving forward, being closer than it is, hence the “come hither” nature of a classically sexy red dress.
Wow, that’s fascinating. You can do so much with color psychology and biology. It’s possible to really manipulate with combinations of colours.
that is an absolutely adorable outfit. π
i think this is a great idea and a really interesting one! i love the colour red as its so bold, and i think you look great in these pictures! π can’t wait for more colours! x
LAURA you look fucking gorgeous in this π
Red looks great on you!
